Overview:
As a fiduciary, the Department of Labor expects retirement plan sponsors to evaluate plan costs for reasonableness every 2-5 years. How do we do this without racking up another bill, engaging a consultant, or asking the current plan provider to execute? This presentation will provide an overview of provider cost centers, common roles as a service provider, how to assess value of services, and finally how to pull in all the data to arrive at your plan’s total cost percentage.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand provider roles of retirement plans
- Evaluation of services in comparison to fees assessed
- Understand what plan cost percentage means for fiduciaries
