Communications & Technology
Hey, you! Will you help us pick our SHRM GT Communications & Technology Dating Profile bio?
Option 1: Communication & Technology Committee ISO committed volunteer for long talks on Zoom (jk they’re very short), mutual hype-building, and rewriting HR’s reputation from “soul-sucking corporate robot” to “company-saving unsung hero with receipts.”
Option 2: Looking for someone emotionally available for MAX 2 hours/week and mildly obsessed with making HR look as powerful as it actually is. Must enjoy: storytelling, spotlighting good humans, and turning “mandatory compliance training” energy into “people actually want to attend this” energy.
Option 3: Swipe right if you believe HR isn’t a bunch of Toby Flendersons… it’s the reason the workplace hasn’t collapsed into chaos. Bonus points if you like helping SHRM GT show up online like a real community, not a corporate bulletin board.
Option 4: We're SHRM GT's Communication & Technology Committee. We give love through clear messaging + hype. We receive love through online engagement, follow through, and well-lit content pics featuring happy HR professionals. ISO excited volunteers with good boundaries and high EQ.
We aren’t saying HR is sexy because HR wouldn’t let us say that. But we ARE saying it prevents lawsuits, saves culture, and holds companies together with vibes, policy, and pure emotional labor.
Want to give back & have fun doing it? Join the committee that tells that love story as loudly as we can.
HR deserves better PR than “the fun police with a stapler.” Grow your real-world influence & have fun doing it, and we promise we’ll make you look really, really good on LinkedIn through the process.
